"ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ"

Film: Fire Maidens from Outer Space (1958)

Alias: The Man with the Head of a Beast

Type: Alien

Location: Forest

Height/Weight: That of an average human.

Affiliation: Evil

Summary: You could have fed the pet. You could have called your friends over. You could have taken a hike in the great outdoors. And what did you do instead? Watch "Fire Maidens from Outer Space"? Well then, congratulations, you have either died of padding-induced boredom or are now contemplating how you've lost more than an hour of what could have been time well spent. Anyway, there was a monster in this film, so we wasted time as well.

History: What remained of the sunken city of Atlantis decided to find greener pastures in the far reaches of space. So they decided to settle on the thirteenth moon of Jupiter (it's Hollywood space, go with it). From there, it seemed nice for the relatively small gated community, but beyond their walls was a fearsome beast of unknown origin waiting for them to step outside their boundaries.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: After finally managing to break into the Fire Maiden's temple, the monster is blinded by one of the visiting Earthlings, and it falls into a pit of fire, which incinerates it for good.

Powers/Abilities: The monster is immune to bullets.

Weakness: Toxic gas weakens it, but fire is a good way, too.

Scariness Factor: 2-Despite a somewhat imposing appearance, this monster looks just as bored as the audience half the time. This is most evident when at least halfway through its individual attacks, it just gives up and leaves looking rather glum.

Trivia: -This film was written, directed, and produced by one person named Cy Roth. He obviously wasn't a people person.

-Just about the entire soundtrack is composed of snippets of the opera "Prince Igor".

Just turn the spotlight onto the creature.
Huh. Suprisingly good looking.
